Client Investment Strategy (65%): You will initially be allocated 12 to 15 investment portfolios which will cover a range of institutional and family office clients. Example institutional clients include the endowments of the V&A Museum, Eton College and INSEAD Business School. The portfolios are largely managed on a full discretionary basis by teams of three to six people. This will involve, among other things, the settling of long-term asset allocation targets, the evaluation and selection of third-party investment managers, the design and oversight of derivative overlay strategies, the research and generation of tactical asset allocation ideas, and attendance at client meetings to report on investment performance and discuss investment strategy. We expect you to swiftly progress to the role of Investment Principal and will provide you with the support and training you need to make the transition.

Business Development (25%): You will assist with business development and support the other members of our Paris office as we strengthen and expand our business in continental Europe. In this respect, your role will be primarily focused on preparing pitch materials, mapping the prospective clients’ universe, carrying out market research and preparing reports which will help guide the team’s business development strategy, as well as then participating in pitch meetings.

Other (10%): Assisting with other projects within the business which could include recruiting, training, portfolio construction research, mentoring, team events, IT development, manager DD, or a project for the research team amongst other things.
