Talent Acquisition Lead


Position Description

The Talent Acquisition Lead located in Boston will be responsible for North America Talent Acquisition, reporting directly to the Head of People. They will focus on leading talent acquisition activities across our three North America offices (Boston, New York and San Francisco). This individual will play a pivotal role in developing and executing a strategy to talent acquisition across multiple business lines. They will work closely with key stakeholders in the business to understand, plan for and meet diverse hiring needs.

This individual will be responsible for the full talent acquisition lifecycle from opening a requisition through onboarding the new employee, in collaboration with hiring managers and other members of the People Team. They will also be responsible for our internship programs (which include partnerships with SEO and GWI) and undergraduate Investment Analyst recruiting. Additional activities may include updating and maintaining a central recruiting and onboarding process as well as developing and maintaining partnerships with recruiters.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Head of People to design, develop and champion a diverse and inclusive recruitment strategy
  • Lead North America talent acquisition efforts, including partnering with hiring managers and other People Team members to effectively develop job descriptions, set interview slates, develop candidate scorecards, determine appropriate recruiting partners and manage day-to-day efforts
  • Conduct regular reviews of the end-to-end recruitment process striving for efficiency, market leading practices and best-in-class candidate experience
  • Interview coordination, where necessary
  • Communicate with hiring managers regularly regarding the status of candidates, as well as facilitate ongoing professional communication with all stakeholders involved in the talent acquisition process
  • Partner with the hiring team on candidate selection, act as an ongoing candidate relationship manager and provide ongoing value-add recruitment advice to the hiring manager
  • Identify, develop and maintain relationships with external agencies, holding each accountable for delivering against our talent needs and DEI strategies
  • Conduct annual reviews of current partnerships and explore new partnerships to support the firm’s talent and diversity goals, as appropriate
  • Deliver and pilot innovative sourcing techniques to ensure the business attracts a diverse talent pool
  • Manage the offer process and post offer outreach including but not limited to preparing offer materials, fully explaining the total compensation package, employee proposition, benefits packaged and onboarding process to as well as communicating with the appropriate stakeholders (internally and externally)
  • Update, maintain and deliver interview training annually for all team members involved in talent acquisition
  • Support compensation reviews by tracking and providing market and candidate data to the Head of People

Key responsibilities will be regularly assessed and are subject to change from time to time based on the needs of the business. The individual may be required to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications / Attributes

  • 6+ years of HR/Talent Acquisition or consulting experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • Data, analytics and reporting capability
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Undergraduate degree with a strong track record of academic achievement
