Sir Bradley Fried

Sir Bradley (Brad) was appointed chair of the Partners Capital board in August 2024. Brad is currently the CEO of the Ki Corporation and is the former Chair of Goldman Sachs International and Goldman Sachs International Bank. Brad served on the Court of Directors of the Bank of England from 2012 to 2022, including as Chair from 2018. He also served as a Director of the Financial Conduct Authority. Brad was Chief Executive Officer of Investec Bank until 2010, following which he co-founded the private investment firm, Grovepoint. Earlier in his career, Brad was a Partner at McKinsey & Co in New York having joined as an Associate in 1993. Brad was also the Chief Executive Officer in Residence and a Fellow in Finance at the Judge Business School, University of Cambridge and until 2023 served as a Governor of the London Business School and Chair of the LBS Finance Committee. Brad earned an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, as well as a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Cape Town. Brad was awarded a knighthood for Public Service in the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Birthday Honours.
