Eric Schwartz

Eric Schwartz is a private investor based in New York City, affiliated with SSW Partners and 76 West Holdings. His professional focus is on the financial services industry and he has served on the boards of many private and public companies headquartered in the US, Europe and Asia.

Earlier in his career, Eric served on the Management Committee of Goldman Sachs. Eric has been involved in many philanthropic endeavors, and, among others, serves as Chairman of City Harvest, one of the largest food rescue and redistribution nonprofits in the country. He also serves on the Board of UJA-Federation of New York, and on the boards of the Guggenheim Foundation and the Jewish Community Center in Kraków, Poland. He serves as a trustee of the Brookings Institution and as a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.

Eric graduated from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania with a BSE (summa cum laude) and an MBA in 1984 and 1985, respectively.
