Paul Dimitruk co-founded Partners Capital in 2001. He is the firm’s Senior Partner. He served as Chairman from 2001 to 2020 and is now the Vice-Chairman serving with Sir Brad Fried, the Board’s independent Chairman.  Paul advises some of our most distinguished US institutional and private clients.

Paul was previously Chairman and CEO of Hawker Capital, a global commodities fund; Chairman and CEO of Pareto Partners; Group Managing Director of General Atlantic Group; a member of the Management Committee of INVESTCORP; and Managing Partner of the European practice of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. Paul holds a JD from the NYU School of Law. He is a Life Trustee and member of the Investment Committee of Denison University and a Trustee and member of the  Investment Committee of the United States Naval War College Foundation. He is also a member of the Board and the Chair of the Investment Committee of the Council of Independent Colleges in Washington DC.

Paul is a member of the Business Executives for National Security and the Advisory Board of the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington DC. He is on the Board of Hakluyt & Company, the London-based strategic advisory firm.
