Paul Dimitruk
Co-Founder and Vice Chairman, Dallas
Paul Dimitruk co-founded Partners Capital in 2001. He served as Chairman from 2001 to 2020 and is now the Vice Chairman serving with Sir Brad Fried, the Board’s independent Chairman. Paul advises some of our most distinguished US institutional and private clients.
Paul was previously Chairman and CEO of Hawker Capital, a global commodities fund; Chairman and CEO of Pareto Partners; Group Managing Director of General Atlantic Group; a member of the Management Committee of INVESTCORP; and Managing Partner of the European practice of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. Paul holds a JD from the NYU School of Law. He is a Life Trustee and member of the Investment Committee of Denison University and a Trustee, and a member of the Investment Committee of the United States Naval War College Foundation. He is also a member of the Board and the Chair of the Investment Committee of the Council of Independent Colleges in Washington, DC.
Paul is a member of the Advisory Board of the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington, DC, and of Business Executives for National Security (BENS). He is a member of the Board of Directors of Heaviside Industries, an early-stage DefenseTech company, and is Chair of the LP Advisory Board of Shield Capital. He previously served on the Board of Hakluyt & Company, the London-based strategic advisory firm, and is currently a member of the Investment Committee of Hakluyt Capital.
