Role Description
Partners Capital is seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our London development team where the impact will be immediate and tangible. As a fast growing, 200+ person company, we seek someone who is motivated, a self-starter, adaptable and comfortable working on a small team in an extremely fast-paced, ever-changing entrepreneurial environment.
This Senior Associate Developer position is within our Architecture Team, where a successful candidate will work with a small team of Architects, Software Engineers, and DevOps Engineers to build, support, and improve Partners Capital’s software platform, used by our team of 20+ Developers to deliver software projects to the business.
Position Responsibilities
You will work with 4 senior Engineers in our Architecture Team, building, supporting, and improving the cloud architecture and infrastructure used internally at Partners Capital.
You will be working on implementing new Azure services and improving existing development processes. For example, containerizing and deploying existing VM workloads into Azure App Services, developing processes to ensure all project dependencies are regularly updated, or adding robust testing and static analysis processes into CI/CD pipelines.
This is great opportunity to learn from experienced, senior Engineers, and to work with new, cloud-native technologies to deliver projects that will have a real impact on the business.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be a talented Software Engineer with a degree in Computer Science or similar technical subject or equivalent experience.
Required:
- Approximately 4 – 5 years, or equivalent, commercial experience as a Software Engineer
- 2+ years of building and deploying applications in cloud environments (Azure preferred)
- Strong automation and scripting skills, preferably with Bash
- Experience with GNU/Linux
- Genuine passion for solving complex problems through programming
