Paul Dimitruk co-founded Partners Capital with Stan Miranda in 2001, acting as its Chairman from 2001 to 2020. Paul is the Vice Chairman and Board Advisor to the firm. Paul was previously Chairman and CEO of Hawker Capital, a global commodities fund; Chairman and CEO of Pareto Partners, an institutional investment manager; Group Managing Director of General Atlantic Group, the holding company for the General Atlantic interests; a member of the Management Committee of INVESTCORP, the international private equity firm; and Managing Partner of the European practice of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, the global law firm.

Paul holds a Juris Doctor degree from the New York University School of Law. He is a Life Trustee of Denison University and member of its Investment Committee and a Trustee of the United States Naval War College Foundation. Paul is the chair of the Investment Committee of the Council of Independent Colleges (CIC) in Washington DC. He is member of the Business Executives for National Security (BENS), a coalition of senior business and industry executives who work with the US Department of Defense to support US national security, and a member of the Advisory Board of the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) in Washington DC.  Paul is also on the Board of Hakluyt & Company, the London-based global strategic advisory firm.
