Jeremy Sillem is the Managing Partner of Spencer House Partners, a London based firm providing corporate finance advice to asset and wealth management businesses. Prior to that he had a 30 year career in investment banking, first at Lazard in London and New York and then as Executive Chairman of Bear Stearns International in London. He has served on the boards of a number of asset and wealth management businesses including those of the UK Government’s CDC Group, Martin Currie, RHJ International, Kleinwort Benson Group, Harbourmaster Holdings and WP Stewart and is the former Chairman of BioPharma Credit plc and of the World Trust Fund.   

He is currently a non-executive Director of RIT Capital Partners plc.  He is a Trustee of Reform (the public policy think tank), a member of the investment committee of the National Portrait Gallery and a former member of the investment committee of Brasenose College, Oxford. 

 He received an MA (Honours) in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from Oxford University.
